"At first, I thought she was an amazing doctor and it didn’t take long to see the real Wafa. I kept going to her office complaining that I couldn’t breathe and come to find out Iended up having an infected R lung and had to have major surgery and then then two mo later I had to have a cholecystectomy. It was same day so they sent me home the same day. Later that day, I was so drugged up from the surgery that a pos broke in, assaulted me and stole my car. Dr. Akkad refused to see or talk to me afterwards. I had to move out of my apt, I was admitted to the psychward and then I had to live w my sister for four mo until mentally I was doing better. She didn’t refer me to mental health, didn’t refill my meds he stole (including 8 Percocet for my surgical pain). She is not a bit empathetic and I’m not sure why she became a doc. I was fooled in the beginning but not anymore. I’ve referred a few ppl to her but they’ve all said the same things I’ve mentioned. She’s in it strictly for the money. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!. sw"
