"I was placed there by the court for approximately 7 months way back in 93-94. I was an absolute mess. The staff helped me start to heal from living an abusing childhood, the death of my mom and my dad was in prison. Barb and her daughters & all the other staff was great! Janis made the best breakfasts ever! Much love from Michelle!!!"

"They forced religion on the youth in their custody. I got kicked out and they got me an uber sent me to the wrong address completely I had set up a time to pick up my stuff after and they claimed I could not get it because no one that had a key to that room was available. So I still have not gotten my stuff I came with a lot of stuff and had to leave with a trash bag in January and it was pouring rain. DO NOT SEND KIDS HERE. It is not a suitable place for children. They are outright rude and hypocritical."

"I lived at the children’s home about 35 years ago. Back then it was ran by the original owner Barb (I think that’s her name). Her daughters worked there too. I ran away from this place so many times I can’t count. I will say, it wasn’t horrible. It wasn’t great. But not the worst I’d seen. I think one of the things that really got to me was the only thing for us to do on most days was eat. The food was great. Homemade real food that we helped cook. But there was nothing else for us on a regular basis. We did occasionally take trips. I remember Barb taking camping and going to Jellystone Park and somewhere with caves. It was cool. I also remember Barb being so angry she kicked a door down. Still, it was a decent safe place to be. I can only imagine that it’s gotten better..at least I hope it has."

"Great prices on pre owned clothing, furniture, hobbies and what ever else you need. Great friendly staff. And the money always goes to a good cause of feeding and furnishing room and board to all ages of kids that don't have a regular home to go to."
