Golden Years Nursing Center

"I just moved my father here from another facility. While it has only been a few short days the difference is amazing. Every staff member is welcoming & friendly. The administrative staff(admissions, DON & social worker) that we have dealt with are really on top of everything. The staff here (LPN, STNA) all seem to work as a team. It is such a breath of fresh air for people to be doing their jobs, as they should be done. You really get a sense of family here. I work in healthcare myself & can say this is hard to come by. For anyone looking for a facility for their loved one I would highly recommend you consider golden years. It may not be the newest facility but definitely the best level of care I’ve seen in a long time. My dad also says the food is great."

"I live out of state, but when I needed to find a Medicaid facility for my mom, Golden Years bent over backwards to help me get coverage and transition my mom from her former placement. They helped me navigate the system, got things moving, and reassured me all along the way. Cindy, the admissions director, is so kind, responsive, and efficient. She and the rest of the staff communicate with me regularly which is a great comfort for an out of state daughter. I am truly grateful for the care my mom receives at Golden Years."

"I 10/10 would NOT recommend this facility, al though they have a handful of good people who TRULY care about their patients. I am currently an employee....well until this is read then I will be termed...which is totally fine because they are only silencing the truth that needs to be told and shared. The facility covers up dirty jobs...like the black mold they have in the facility that is covered up by the baseboards. I was injured working on the job by moving an overly obese patient and never reported it until a month after the fact because we CONSTANTLY had staffing issues...long story short the administrator had 3 people make false reports of being in the room when I got hurt just to cover up the tails for being short staffed. Also the same day when the injury occurred the administrator was pushing the fact of having this patient picked up so her mother in law could be moved into this room and the patient hadn't even been gone 24hrs. Mind you there were other rooms that were vacant but because this was HER mother in law she got special treatment? A bit asinine if you ask me. But I will DEFINITELY copy and paste this statement to save because as quick as i put it on here is as fast as it will be taken down. Please do your research before you place your loved one in this facility."
