Michele Schwegman, a dedicated physician assistant, joined the Indian Creek Family Health Center in Oxford in October 2011. With a Bachelor of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Science in Sports Medicine from the Arizona School of Health Sciences, Michele offers a wealth of experience in Physical Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Academia. She has a keen interest in Women's Health and Sports Medicine.
As a licensed physician assistant, Michele collaborates with physicians to provide comprehensive care, including diagnostics, treatment, referrals, physical exams, and prescriptions. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in our patient satisfaction ratings, which are based on responses to care provider-related questions from the nationally-recognized NRC Health Patient Satisfaction Survey.
Michele is proud to serve the community she grew up in and enjoys staying active through aerobics, camping, and gardening. She resides in Oxford with her husband and three sons.
