"Used to go every weekend, years ago, for about 6 months and the preaching was lacking. Not much substance and not focused around the word of God. No lessons learned from Scripture. Everything else was good (Music, community giving and involvement, youth group, etc.). But the sermon and God's Word is the most important, above all else! About 6 months ago I told my wife that for some reason I felt called that we need to go visit again. Boy am I glad we did: The church has a new senior pastor, Josh Brown. Absolutely amazing pastor, wife, and family. He preaches God's word with passion and directness, while also throwing in humor and humbleness. When he preaches I often feel the Holy Spirit moving within me and around the Church. It's been a long time since I've felt that. Jess Adkins is another great man/leader of the Church. Jess has always welcomed us, remembered our names, and even checked up on me after a surgery. There is never any pressure and everyone always makes us feel welcome. The music and everything else about the service is amazing as well. The praise team/band members are top notch, and the leader often starts of with quoting scriptures of the Bible between songs. Baptisms happen during the service almost every Sunday. The youth group is HUGE. The church gives so much to the community: having a weekly picnic for less fortunate, a community garden, giving to homeless weekly, support for abused spouses, etc. I actually look forward to tithing every month LOL This church is truly on fire for Jesus. I certainly hope and pray that it stays that way and that this church continues to focus on preaching the Bible/God's Word as the unapologetic truth, unlike other Churches in the Tri-State I used to go to (one rhymes with BossRoads). If you visit, please make sure to stick around and say hello/speak with leadership, a praise team member, or Pastor. You won't regret it!"

"My family recently visited Whitewater while on vacation from Tennessee. Everyone made us feel so welcome! We got to see several baptisms and we left overflowing with joy! God is moving at this church and we will be back!"

"I can't give this place enough stars! They absolutely was the best people in the world in my time of need. This year has been a struggle for me.I think for a lot of others as well and they welcomed me with open arms let me pick out multiple Christmas gifts for my children,gave us stocking stuffers,board games.They even wrapped everything.They gave me a bunch of resources I can use if I need to.They have a life center.Rooms for children to go to while church is in session,a food pantry.They have it all going on.I am so excited to join the service soon.The community here is just amazing.I can not thank you all enough.From the bottom of my heart I am really grateful.I wish I could remember the woman's name that helped me through the whole process.She was just such an amazing person.
