"Of all the religious establishments I have attended, the HUMC is without a doubt, HANDS DOWN the absolute best church and I have made if a point to try as many different churches and religions as I could until I came to some sort of definite conclusion. The HUMC is more like a family or tight community than a church. The congregation sadly has dwindled its numbers mostly due to moving, age (death), and the glam of a new more "modern alternative" place which I find to be disheartening because of how wonderful it is and the nostalgic feelings I get from the deep loving values they not only teach but display each and every day. It would be fantastic to see the church do some sort of new members drive to once again fill up those pews band empty chairs. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all for your years of encouragement, prayers and support. Its been a heck of a few years for myself and my family and I am always warmed in the heart and eased in the mind whenever I am able to be there. I know we all appreciate everything. Thank you again. "I love the small-town feel at this church. The kind of says that they extend to the needy people in the area with their food pantry is such a kind and caring thing to do. I love the choir the pastor and everything about that church. I've gone to several different Methodist churches in the area and that one's by far my favorite. Keep up the good work folks."
