"This place is a straight up dumpl . Wherre do these people come from?? An absolute miserable excuse for a public transportation stop. If you want to see animals and non-existent 85 year old "security" or animal hamdlers, then this is your place. Absolutely pathetic."
"A forgotten Station. In desperate need of repairs. Every time I’m through there the little shop is closed. (But the open sign is always on) Not really sure how the parking works. There’s a coin box with numbers and slots. So maybe 4 quarters in the spot you’re in? There’s never any staff there to ask. All but one set of doors are locked. I imagine for security since it’s heated and homelessness is an issue. All the escalators are off/don’t work. Usually someone drunk/high talking VERY loud in the waiting area."
"It's a necessary evil. Too many stairs. Dunno if it's clean cuz I think it was built in the 1600s with NO updating. Concession stand is first floor. Upstairs you wait. Hungry? Down two flights (or elevator - you know the one; acceptable for elderly and handicapped), and back upstairs (probly 30 steps). To platform, uphill ramp (maybe 20 yards) to . . . you guessed it, Another flight."
"Not bad for gary. Old infrastructure, but everything is in place. There's a general store on the ground floor."
"If you don't feel like driving all the way into downtown Chicago to pick someone up, force them to ride the SSL to Gary. Makes it much easier. They'll resent you, but you can get new friends. You can't get back that time wasted driving in ungodly traffic."
