Important Notice: The Lake County Highway Department announces the closure of Joliet St over St John Ditch, between Industrial Dr and Hart St, for repairs from Tuesday, September 3rd at 7:00 AM to Tuesday, September 17th at 5:00 PM, weather permitting. Please follow the designated detour routes for eastbound and westbound traffic to ensure a smooth travel experience.
For contractors and residents, our Bulk Water Vending Station provides a convenient and legal way to purchase potable water at $5.00 per 1,000 gallons. Located at our Public Works Facility, the station is available 24/7, accepting $5, $10, and $20 bills (no change given).
Additionally, please be advised that limited "spot" hydrant flushing will occur as needed during spring and summer. To ensure water clarity, let your water run for a few seconds before use.
