Smith Ford

"I would like to first say that in buying my vehicle from Smith (specifically with Dan), I had no issues and it was a pleasant experience. My issues lie within the Service department. My current vehicle (purchased from Smith) is two years old. Earlier this year I brought it in for intermittent washer fluid issues and a window rattle. I was told the window rattle was due to a door recall with no path forward and they would not look at it. Fast forward to August, when I have uneven tread wear on one tire to suggest a bad shock. I was told that it is leaking, but not enough to replace (the part is under warranty) and to come back with new tires on it. When I got my tires changed, the place said “your shock is leaking all over the place, you need to get it replaced”. Additionally, at this time, I was told the window rattle was actually NOT due to the door recall and is a separate issue. I went to a different Ford dealership and they replaced both rear shocks (under my warranty) and fixed my door recall in one visit, and will diagnose my window at a later visit. Smith seems to like to give the runaround. I could’ve had my window diagnosed months ago if they didn’t give me incorrect information about it being due to a door weld recall. I will no longer be using this location for service, and if you value your time and genuine customer service, I suggest you don’t either."
