About the Business

American Beach

Welcome to American Beach, a vibrant community nestled in the heart of Fernandina Beach, Florida. Located at 5492 Gregg Street, our neighborhood is a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. At the core of our community is the American Beach Property Owners Association (ABPOA), a dedicated 501(c)(4) social welfare organization committed to the well-being of our residents.

The ABPOA's mission is to foster a healthy and thriving environment for all property owners on American Beach. We aim to enhance, improve, and preserve the social, economic, and aesthetic values of our community. Unlike traditional homeowners associations, our membership is entirely voluntary, offering flexibility and freedom to our members without the imposition of strict rules and regulations.

Our community-driven initiatives have led to significant contributions and improvements, including ongoing projects to install street lighting and fire hydrants, and securing essential water and sewer connections for every property. The ABPOA is dedicated to ensuring the safety, convenience, and beauty of American Beach for generations to come.

Join us as we work towards a brighter future for American Beach, where community spirit and collaboration lead the way. For more information, please contact us at our mailing address: American Beach Property Owners Association Inc., P.O. Box 6123, Fernandina Beach, FL 32035-6123. Come be a part of our welcoming and dynamic community!

"A lot of people, fishing where your swimming wasn't fun..water was really warm,no cooling off in that..a lot of dogs. Some may like all that, some don't."

"Love this beach! So clean and the water is beautiful in the summer. In the public park close by it’s free to get into (there’s also showers and bathrooms). There is some construction happening right now, which does make it a little tricky to find a parking spot, but overall great place to take your family for a beach day."

"I wasn’t at the villas. I was at the beach but that doesn’t matter. Had I known it was a historic beach I would’ve stayed longer and explored more. With that said, great place to bring your dogs! Which is how I stumbled upon this gem."
