"The largest railroad fill on the planet is hiding in plain sight. What looks like just another hill is a completely manmade structure. 3 miles long, 6,625,000 cubic yards of material! Wrap your head around that number. If you place all the material in modern dump trucks and parked them bumper to bumper they’d stretch from New York City to New Orleans! No rails remain on top but the railroad grade is relatively clean gravel. NJ transit has been workin for 12 years to lay track from Port Morris to Andover, a 7.5 mile stretch. For comparison the entire 28.5 mile Lackawanna Cut-Off was constructed and tracks laid in 1911 taking only 3 years!"
