"This school is exceptional in the way the teachers and administration go "above and beyond" in seeking to open up new opportunities for their students to learn and grow in knowledge and skill. They have teams of students which participate in robotics competitions, state YMCA of Georgia United Nations and Junior Youth Assembly programs, and various chorus and band competitions. They use an after school tutoring program to help students with their classwork and a mentorship program. They have had several students win local and state recognition for their creative writing abilities. Their sports program is very strong as well, with coaches working with classroom teachers to ensure that athletes stay caught up on their classwork. They run their own in-house school news program and on Friday afternoons the school runs a clubs program for those students who are not assigned study hall to make up late work. Over 580 students strong, this is a great place to go to school!"
