Our Grounds Department is committed to ensuring the campus, athletic fields, and golf course are always at their best, providing a beautiful backdrop for learning and leisure. Our experienced team works diligently to maintain the overall appearance of the campus, enhancing the experience for everyone who visits.

The Physical Plant Maintenance Department focuses on keeping all university buildings at their peak operating condition. We offer routine maintenance services, respond promptly to facility user requests, and conduct planned maintenance to prevent major equipment failures. Our team also supports small improvement projects, ensuring safety and comfort for all who enter our facilities.

Our Custodial Department is dedicated to maintaining a clean and healthy environment, crucial to the university's mission. Utilizing state-of-the-art techniques, our 24-hour cleaning crews meticulously care for 1.8 million square feet of cleanable space. The Projects Department manages all modifications, additions, and enhancements to existing facilities, ensuring all projects are financially sound and consistently executed. All project-level work must receive approval from the Physical Plant and appropriate administrators to ensure alignment with university standards.

In addition, the Physical Plant oversees the scheduling of Troy University fleet vehicles, supporting the transportation needs of our campus community.
