"While I will admit that sometimes Dr. Silverberg’s staff can be rude. I’ve usually found that a compliment, even if I have to reach in finding one to use, can quickly change that. Being staff in medical offices is definitely not easy these days given the number of varying and often impatient personalities one is faced with. I wanted the best endocrinologist in the St.Louis region and Dr. Silverberg happens to be that physician! He is caring, patient, thorough, knowledgeable, skilled, and takes the time to explain and discuss your condition and treatment options with you. I am truly thankful to be his patient."
"Dr Silverberg's office is ridiculous when it comes to keeping the appointments they set. I have been rescheduled a handful of time now for an annual ultrasound I was due for in April. (5 months ago) one of the rescheduled appointments I came in for and I was told they don't do ultrasounds that day of the week so I traveled over an hour just to be sent away and rescheduled. I was scheduled to go today and was just called and told I would have to reschedule again. I would not recommend this office to anyone. They clearly do not care about the health or time of their patients."
"At this point 1 star is way to high. After waiting months and many reschedules to see Dr Silverberg I was immediately greeted by extremely rude staff who insisted I pay I copay that I don't even have. After 20 mins of argument abt it she finally called my insurance and it proved I was right. When I finally saw Dr Silverberg he did my ultrasound and said he wanted me back in 3 months. When I went to make said appointment before I left the earliest appointment I could get was 6 months out. At this point I'm like ok it is was it is. Then a couple weeks ago I checked my charred and saw an appointment I hadn't even made. Apparently they rescheduled me without any notification. I could not make said appointment so they rescheduled to an appointment 9 months out. Today I received a letter stating that Dr Silverberg can't keep this appointment either. Here's the kicker. The letter states they have tried to reach me without success. THEY HAVE NEVER CONTACTED ME REGARDING THESE CHANGES. Come Monday I'm going to blow the phones off the hook at their office and throw a fit. Then next I'm filing a complaint with the hospital and medical board. He doesn't need to be in practice with an office that is intentionally screwing over patients"
"They NEVER answer the phone or return voicemail messages. Everytime I call it's answered by a call center. I was traveling and accidentally left my medicine at home. I left a message on August 3rd at 8am asking for someone to return my call regarding this matter and never received a returned call. I now have dealt with my prescription pending approval. I've been completely out of medication and was advised by Dr. Silverberg the importance of taking my meds routinely. However, my pharmacy and I have left several messages and sent several faxes without response for 5 days. I FINALLY reached Melody the Office Manager yesterday, she had the nerve to tell me with attitude that she answers the phone and returns calls daily. Please keep in mind I'm still awaiting a callback from Aug 3rd - it's now Aug. 22nd and my pharmacy has been waiting on approval for the past 5 days. Due to her poor attitude and lacking ability to operate an office efficiently. I'm left me with no choice but to change doctors."
