Welcome to Independence Center Health Group, formerly known as Midwest Psychiatry, located in the heart of St. Louis at 4219 Laclede Avenue, Missouri 63108. We are dedicated to providing exceptional psychiatric care through a team of experienced Washington University psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and telepsychiatrists. Our mission is centered on recovery and wellness, aiming to help patients achieve psychiatric stability and improved physical health.
At Independence Center Health Group, we understand that each patient is unique. Our care approach is highly individualized, involving close collaboration with patients, their families, and community support staff to ensure high-quality, effective, and holistic care. Our services include thorough evaluations to establish diagnoses, treatment recommendations, medication plans, and assessments of physical health status and community resource needs. Treatment planning is a collaborative process with the patient and their support network, focusing on holistic recovery and wellness.
We provide ongoing assessment, medication management, and both individual and group therapy sessions conducted by licensed clinical social workers. Patients can be referred by their doctor or social worker. Our holistic care approach includes monitoring health measures at every visit and offering health information and referrals for physical health needs.
