"This provider did not have adequate medical competency and moral character. He did not do any work and hold up his responsibility and ethical standards and was just frankly harassing me. He has no sense of empathy/compassion and does not care about patient outcome and safety. He has poor listening skills, does not let the patient talk freely, and frankly very difficult to communicate with. He was not respectful to any aspect of my health and medical gaslights. He is rude, very childish, has power-control issues, and is a plain out liar. He has only one-way closed-minded thinking and then has anger outbursts. He has very limited medical knowledge and years behind in the world of medicine. He is not thorough and makes alot of medical mistakes. As a pharmacist, I do not recommend this low quality provider. It is scary that people like this, are in our community with a doctor title. Please choose another provider or just another department."

"Dr. Altayar is kind, intelligent, and patient with questions. He was a wealth of information about my celiac disease, and I've been dealing with it for years! I would highly recommend him."

"Dr. Altayar has been one of the BEST GI doctor I have EVER SEEN! He takes pride in his work and his patient's care! He is humble and has EXCELLENT bedside manners. If you do not understand he will help you to. I have taken soooo many GI meds over the past 10 years and Dr. ALTAYAR has made it to where I can actually eat again without acid reflux. We tried a number of different meds until we hit Jackpot! Remember Physicians are not miracle workers God is. But as long as you are willing to be patient with them they will do everything they can to help. This here is a great Doc and now friend!"

"Dr. Altayar is an outstanding physician. If all docs were this thorough, concerned and personable you would look forward to going to the appointment. Very difficult to find more superior medical care than BJC Center for Advanced Medicine and the Wash U physicians."

"Living on the IL side of the river, I have access to plenty of doctors. When it comes to GI complications, I choose to spend more time travelling to Wash U. It was only my 1st visit, but the care, attention, advice & treatment of Dr. Osama would have taken multiple visits here to achieve the same thing. I was too uncomfortable to do another "trial & error" plan. On time, courteous, friendly doctor & staff, it looks like I made the right decision."
