Welcome to the Carroll County Health Department, your dedicated partner in safeguarding and enhancing the health of our community. Located at 1004 Newnan Road, Carrollton, Georgia, our local government office is committed to providing a wide range of essential health services to meet your needs.
Our Services Include:
- Vital Records: Easily order birth or death certificates online, with the option to have them mailed or picked up in person at our Vital Records office.
- COVID-19 Testing and Vaccines: Access a PCR test kit for COVID-19/flu A-B at our 24/7 outdoor self-service kiosk at the University of West Georgia, Carrollton Campus. Receive results via email or text within 48 hours. Free rapid self-test kits are also available in our lobby. Schedule your COVID-19 vaccine appointment online or by calling (800) 847-4262.
- Health Screenings: We offer confidential STD screenings, HIV testing, PPD skin tests for TB, presumptive pregnancy Medicaid assistance, and hearing/vision/nutrition screenings for school.
- Environmental Health and Nutrition: Visit our Environmental Health Office or the Carroll County WIC and Nutrition Center for comprehensive services. Call 706-298-6080 or 770-722-0633 for appointments.
- Car Seat Safety Education: Join our monthly car seat education classes to ensure your child's safety. Contact us at 770.836.6667 for more information.
