About the Business

Welcome to Pathways Second Season, a dedicated health and local government office located at 124 Gordon Commercial Drive, LaGrange, Georgia. Our mission is to provide emergency and transitional housing, along with supportive services, to those in need, enhancing their quality of life and fostering a stable community environment.

As we enter our seventh month of sheltering individuals experiencing homelessness, we have been blessed with incredible community support. Thanks to the generous contributions from local churches such as First Presbyterian Church of LaGrange, Upper Room Pentecostal Church, Freedom Baptist Church, and Broad Street Church of Christ, we have been able to provide nourishing dinners to those we serve at Branches of Hope.

Throughout each month, numerous individuals and groups donate food and essential items, or volunteer their time to serve the homeless in practical ways. If you are interested in lending a hand, please reach out to us via email. Your support is invaluable in helping us meet our annual budget of just under $600,000. This budget covers the costs of our full-time staff who operate our facility around the clock, every day of the year, and provide vital programs to assist the homeless in regaining stability.

Our greatest need is funding, and we kindly ask for any monthly contributions you can make to keep our doors open. The cost of homelessness to a city or county ranges from $40,000 to $120,000 per person per year, as many end up in jail, hospitals, or emergency rooms. Your donations can make a significant difference.

We also welcome donations of everyday household items. Please remember those in need during your shopping trips, or consider donating extra items you may have at home. For a list of our current needs, please visit our Daily Needs page.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Midwest Food Bank Georgia, located in Peachtree City, for their provision of essential food and resources. Their partnership allows us to serve our clients effectively. For more information about their work, please visit midwestfoodbank.org.

At Pathways Second Season, we are driven by love, trust, transition, compassion, hope, honesty, and care. Join us in making a positive impact in our community.

"PLEASE READ. Literally the worst experience of my life and I have been to other facilities. I never got to see a doctor or counselor once. I had an anxiety attack and was given a shot by the nurses to calm down and overdosed. I was placed in a corner of my room unconscious until the security found me and personally risked his job to bring me to the ER in his car. I spent 5 days in ICU with no memory at all and resulted in me now having seizures and memory loss. And yes there was jobs lost and current law suit. If anyone you care about is tried to be sent there refuse and request elsewhere. Anchor was a nice place and helped me ALOT. This place should be shut down permanently and might be if I can help it."

"This facility and their doctors are a complete JOKE! I had my father send there for meth use as well as mental illness in which he draws a SSI check for. I tried so many times to speak with the doctor and he completely denied to until I showed up in person. Even then he refused to give me his name and credentials. Refused to listen to anything even though this was my father's 3rd visit. Even had the nerve to tell me my father doesn't have mental illness...yet he draws a check for it. Then the doctor tells me he doesn't care, he would walk out of the facility right then! One of the other staff members had to correct him telling him not to say that. Any attorney suggestions would be greatly appreciated. These people deserve justice for facilities and doctors like this."

"I’d give the place a zero! Not once did I see a counselor but saw other patients being seen by one. Not once did I speak or see my case worker until 30 minutes before time for me to leave and she did not do well at communicating. Oh! And she was in such a rush to discharge me and get me out of there.. that she didn’t make sure I had my prescriptions. She mentioned they would just have to call them in(which is fine with me)... though THEY NEVER CALLED THEM IN! I’ve been calling them each day since I’ve been out..they have redirected me after redirected me and I’ve even left a few messages. When I told one lady this is urgent and I need to get my meds ASAP. She asked me why did I take so long to call and have this handled. So obviously no one had communicated the messages I was leaving. I tried explaining to her that I had been calling and leaving messages and she kept questioning me on who I spoke with and when, mentioned she wanted to see where the ball was really dropped. Um...it was dropped when I left without my medication properly handled for me. So y’all “help” me only by getting me on meds and then discharging me without those meds for a week now! That shows how they do not give a damn. That can cause serious episodes for someone mentally ill. Just disgusting! Everything comes back 3X :/"

"I hated this place. Worst experience of my life. The staff literally made fun of the people that were there. Unfortunately I was on the mental heath side. I was hit twice by two other people and the staff did nothing about it. I WOULD NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Not even my worse enemy"

"If I could give this place zero stars I would. My advice is that if you have some one you care about do not send them here! My fiancé just got out of this hell hole today. The entire time he was there he was not given any medication to help detox only vitamins. He also has crohns disease, and the staff refused to give him a proper diet or medication for his disease until the day he left; which was 3 days later. The entire time he was in the facility the staff refused to tell me or his mother anything about him; if he was okay, when we could speak to him, if he had any medication, anything about his condition. Everytime that me or his mother called to check on him the entire staff was unbelievably rude and inconsiderate and hung up on us. And not to note that my fiancé begged for 2 hours for anti nausea medicine because the food they served him made his crohns disease flare up. Also make sure to note that this is note a rehab it is only a crisis stabilization center the nurses are only there to make sure the patients detox safely; that is also very hard to do when they do not give the patients any medication to help with seizures or dts or anything. They do not offer any type of activity or support group that they have listed on their website they are not allowed any tobacco the only thing they are allowed to do is sleep and watch TV and go outside to a boarded up patio. They have no counselors and refused to have my fiancé transferred to a nicer facility the whole time. Bottom line is this facility is terrible and do not ever send a loved one that you care about here, don't even send someone you hate here. Also the only positive reviews on here are from staff members..."
