"Dr Stephen Brown and his staff are the best. I had torn rotator and torn muscle. He also repaired my torn meniscus. Excellent doctor"

"Loved everything about how I was treated! I don't feel like I'm being judged. Also unlike another place I'm not being told I'm overweight. The doctor listened to my concerns and is helping me with them."

"I never leave reviews, but based on my experience I have to post this. I was seen for hip pain in January. My first visit went well. PA Heather was nice and thorough. I received a steroid injection and set up a follow up with Dr. Bowerman in 6 weeks. My care summary from the first appointment states, "radiographs of the right hip reviewed and reveal moderate degenerative changes and right cam lesion. L hip with moderate to severe narrowing of the hip joint with marginal osteophyte formation and cam lesion." At the follow-up, I saw Dr. Bowerman for 2 minutes (give or take 30 seconds). He told me to YouTube hip exercises. YouTube!!! I thought it was weird, but I did what he said. There are too many different exercises out there and after 6+ weeks I knew I must not be doing the correct ones. I called his nurse. She told me she would leave handouts for hip exercises at the front desk for me the next day. I told her I was never offered that option, but I would pick them up the next day. When I went there, the envelope had knee exercise handouts in it. I told them that was wrong. I needed hip exercises. They gave me handouts for hip conditioning. I looked at some of those exercise & was skeptical about several. I called ROC Physical Therapy. **I was never referred to PT. I was only referred to YouTube & handouts!** They were very nice & asked if I could come in the next day for instructions. I did. The recommended exercises from PT were not included in the handouts I received from the doctor's office. PT said to avoid deep squats, but a few exercises on what I received from the doctor's office were similar to deep squats. I was, again, given the wrong information from them! Though the physical therapist was very nice and explained things well, I was still upset with how things were handled. So, I called a different doctor. I got a next day appointment, but they requested I bring a CD of my x-rays from ROC. I called ROC and asked if they could get that ready for me same day. Surprisingly, they said yes (the person on the phone was nice). However, when I gave the CD to my new doctor, the x-rays seemed to be there but not viewable! Apparently, an application should've been loaded with the images, but it was not. I had to get another set of x-rays, that I will have to pay for, again! The new doctor saw NO degeneration in either hip & NO moderate to severe narrowing in my left hip. Part of my diagnosis - the scariest part, in my opinion - was wrong! I will never return to ROC."

"Broke my thumb in October and have been seeing them since. Today I drove there for another checkup (55 min drive) and they told me they don't work with my insurance anymore, they are sorry they didn't call, and that if I wanted they would be happy to take $200 from me just to be seen that day and maybe another $50 for the scan. Normally I don't write a review but...... really?"
