"This place is a joke.... It could be so much better. The residents deserve so much better. But when they have employees that actually LOVE their job AND ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE RESIDENTS.... they let them get terminated for reasons that directly how unprofessional their department heads are... "This place is beyond ghetto, that’s the nicest way I can put it. They make their patients look nice when they know family members are coming. They let a lady with Covid roam the halls in her wheel chair going to other’s rooms. When this particular lady didn’t get her way she would curse you, hit you or take her diaper off if she’s even wearing one and number 2 on the floor. Poor housekeeping or caregivers have to clean it up. Manager Pam was very rude when I decided to quit."

"The hardest thing that a loved one will ever have to do is try and find the best place for a loved one. My brother is 57 years old and suffered an aneurysm approximately 3 years ago. He was in a coma and when he came out, he was completely blind with a bit of brain damage which escalated his state of Dementia and we are at a point where we are trying to find the best place for him. The staff here was very comforting and personable. You can tell that they really truly care for everyone and they treat the residence with dignity, compassion and respect. My brother is in review at the moment and I hope that he will be accepted. When I started my search for the right place I weeded out over 20 other places until I found this place. God bless them for being the ultimate definition of caregivers."

"I work at Fifth Avenue Healthcare, I have been there for almost 11 years. The residents here are truly loved. They are not a number. My coworkers are the best. Everyday when I come through the door, I am told how much I am loved and they appreciate me. This makes it worth it for me. I am told it takes a special person to do my job, and I feel it is a privilege to be able to be a family to these dear angels. If you are needing a place for your loved one, just know they will be loved here at Fifth Avenue Healthcare and Rehabilitation!"

"My Mama is here. It has a STAFF of CAREGIVERS and an OFFICE STAFF that I feel are exceptional. If a problem arises it is dealt with in a timely manner. You can feel the difference as soon as you walk in. The staff greet residents by name and are respectful. There are ACTIVITIES planned for the residents on a daily basis. They are varied and residents look forward to them. The staff will get residents to ACTIVITIES when they need assistance. CLEANLINESS is one thing that drew us to this facility as well as the fact that the residents are able to move beds around and decorate their room to their taste. Does not look like a regimental, got to be a certain way, facility. It feels more like a community. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!!"
