Located at 970 Josephville Road in Wentzville, Missouri, Josephville Ballpark is a cherished community landmark with a rich history dating back to 1948. Founded by local visionaries Alphonse (Barney) Wilmes, Alois Wilmes, and Alois Orf, the ballpark has been a beacon of community spirit and a haven for baseball enthusiasts for generations.

In 1951, Edwin Rothermich sold land to the Josephville Athletic Association, ensuring that the grounds would serve as a baseball park for the Men's Missouri Baseball Association. Though the Josephville team left the East Missouri Baseball Association in the 1980s, the legacy of the ballpark continues to thrive.

The park has been home to many leagues over the years, including the Khoury League in 1971, and remains a favorite spot for local children to play baseball in conjunction with neighboring towns. For countless residents, the ballpark is synonymous with summer nights spent in the company of friends, enjoying America's favorite pastime.

Today, the Josephville Athletic Association, led by Board Members Garrett VanMeter, Ryan Kiel, Tony Cyr, Adam Strunk, Megan Venable, Fred Wilmes, Ryan Mee, Darren Emge, and Scott Verhey, is committed to preserving this treasured community asset. The association works tirelessly to ensure that the ballpark remains a place where memories are made and community pride flourishes.
