"Take your kids or your dogs one of Missouri's best parks!! Good clean creek water! There is a sand beach on Lincoln lake with a restroom. Although no dogs on the beach! Maybe hike the Big Sugar Creek trail, wear comfortable shoes. Ticks are bad this year 2021, wear bug spray in the woods. Make sure you have plenty of water, there are 2 springs to hike to. Or find David Dewey's grave back on the ridge? In the fall and summer hike the wildflower trail, butterflies!! It's a 30 minute drive from st Charles. Our parks don't charge any fees yet to play in them. Please get out and enjoy nature before it changes in your lifetime."
