Ms.Penny and the entire staff are super friendly and helpful. As a travel agent, I travel a lot to expert and explore so that I can confidently recommend areas, hotels etc. This place will definitely be at the top of the must stay list for all my clients traveling the Georgia coast!"

"This was the perfect location. It's a 2 minute walk to the ferry that goes out to Cumberland island. It's beautiful, historic and may be a little haunted! I don't mind, it was a friendly ghost. The locals are so friendly and so is the staff. There's a great little breakfast every morning included. I would definitely come back and rent bikes... You can take those bikes on the ferry out to the island which is the ideal way to explore."

"My mom and I stayed two nights here. I just wanted to take a moment to thank the staff. Miss Penny was so accommodating. The rooms were clean and cozy. We chose the lunch offer, which we debated. We're so glad we made the choice to get them, as they were just what we needed! Miss Misty was very sweet and personable. The whole staff was wonderful and attentive. We would not have changed anything about our visit. A must stay if you plan on going to Cumberland Island for a visit!! Highly recommend!"

"The staff is very friendly and professional. They made my wife and I feel welcomed and cared for at all times. The rooms are neat and clean and well appointed. The breakfast is cooked at the Inn and is fresh and hot and served in a lovely dining room on china. We got the option for the picnic lunch, and it did not disappoint. The Inn is a short distance from the ferry to Cumberland Island, so we are very happy with our experience. You cannot go wrong. with the Spencer House Inn."
