"What happened here was so horrible..."
"Watch the documentary "Boys School," it's on Tubi at the moment. It talks about what went on there at Dozier. Also gives first hand accounts from men that went there during the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. It's so sad what they did to those poor babies. Especially R. W. Hatton, the one armed man who maliciously beat them and some beat to death. It's a hard pill to swallow but it's an eye opener for sure. They did a good job on this documentary. Thanks and God Bless!"
"If you don't know the history look up Florida School for Boys. Blood curdling. 1900-2011. No one ever held accountable for the horrors that took place. The victims would prefer none of the bodies be reburied in Jackson county because they know people in Marianna were complicit -- the city wants to make it an "attraction" and boost tourism. Trying to turn a profit? Incredible. A portion of the land was given to the sheriffs, wow. To the folks who turned a blind eye and betrayed children for over 100 years now given some of the land. An abomination. Mind boggling."
