"My family and I came from St. Augustine, Florida, for my son’s baseball tournament. Our car broke down in the middle of a bad thunderstorm. I called Hook and Book Transport, and they arrived within 10 minutes and couldn’t have been more helpful. They put my family in their truck to keep us out of the weather while they did everything, got us to a nice hotel, and even tried to find a mechanic for us during a holiday. "While my daughter and her boyfriend were traveling from Florida to Maryland, they experienced a sudden tire blowout on I95 in Darien in the late afternoon on a Saturday. Being far away and unfamiliar with the area, I contacted my insurance company for roadside assistance, but unfortunately, the offshore call center they connected me to was not helpful. After some quick research online, we discovered Hook and Book, a towing & roadside assistance company in the area. Upon reaching out to them, they promptly sent a driver, Josh, who arrived within the promised 45 minutes. I am truly grateful for the exceptional service provided by Hook and Book. Josh and Dexter, the owner, went above and beyond by contacting various tire replacement services on our behalf. Josh towed the vehicle and drove them to Walmart in Brunswick, but since they didn't have the required tire, he arranged another company to replace the tire late Saturday night (you can find my review on Domain Tires). Following this, Josh took them to a nearby hotel for the night. This morning, I received a call from Hook and Book to ensure everything was in order and the tire had been successfully replaced. I highly recommend Hook and Book for their outstanding assistance and care. I'm so grateful for these gentlemen for helping the kids in this scary situation (they're 21 but still my kids)."
