Budget Car Rental

"Charged me 50 dollars for a no show fee! You guys had no cars available! Zero cars after confirming my reservation! This is ridiculous the front desk personnel, 3 of them sat there and told me there are no rentals I said why would it allow me to place a reservation she said it was because they over book. My trip was ruined and now you’re charging me 50 dollars for a false no show fee! Wow"

"I booked my reservation through the app. Once I got to the airport the person at the counter said that they don't have any cars left. I don't blame the person (talked nicely) at the counter I blame their system for not keeping count of the cars. The customer support said that things can change any minute but the counter person said that they were out of cars since yesterday. This doesn't seem like a last minute change. I paid the same amount of money to get a ride back from the airport."

"Yesterday 5/7 my credit card was charged $139.00 by Budget. No upcoming reservations no recent reservations. I call Budget to see why they charged my card. I was told it was from a rental 3/7/24 that they claimed came back with damages. Absolutely fraudulent. 1. It was a one day rental and there was absolutely nothing wrong with the truck when I brought it back. 2. I never received any notice, phone call, pictures, email… etc stating that there was any damage to the vehicle when or after I returned it. 3. After I call Budget today 5/8, is when they furnish thru email a sketchy repair order and a notice that they said was sent to me that I never got. 4. The truck had a “dent repair” nearly one full month 4/1 after my one day rental on 3/7… then I get charged one month after that 5/7. It’s convenient for them that two months later hit someones credit card with a bogus charge for bogus repair for bogus damage. Please due your due diligence and take pictures before and after as I will be going forward because this is absolutely crazy."

"Was not acknowledged at counter for quite a while. Car received was mechanically fine but had a foul odor like a diaper with a baby powder type perfume to try to cover. Carpet had sand and old food smears on dash and seat."
