"It's closed now. The route. Greyhound was purchased by some German conglomerate that is busy liquidating the historic stations and cancelling routes that are not profitable, leaving untold number of rural people without any viable overland transit options. This stop was sketchy, as so many people have observed. I remember the first time I arrived, rolling into town at 1:30 AM. It is certainly quite an experience for those visiting Eureka for the first time! Fortunately, there are other options here still (2024), including Amtrak."

"Grey hound disappointed me this time. Too many bad things to speak of.they won't return my money for services I was refused. Reservation on seats is a joke. Break downs. Cancelation of busses. Like I said a joke. They think giving me a voucher to ride again was a great thing. To me the thought of it made me sick."

"It's just the side of the road. Completely unmarked. People generally wait on the sidewalk. This is not so great for a place as rainy as Eureka. When the wind is blowing late at night you freeze. The bus frequently runs late. I've waited here for as long as 3 1/2 hours for the south bound bus and it is a long wait just standing around with nowhere to sit or get shelter from the wind."

"The stop in Eureka doesn't even have a sign. I just had the Google address, which took me to a parking lot with a closed business building at the back. No sign by the street. Thankfully 3 other people with luggage were standing on the sidewalk and said they were also waiting for the greyhound. So I just waited for the bus to show up. At least it was on time."

"The bus was 90 minutes late. No staff here or information, or even sign that says greyhound. It's just a regular city bus stop (in a sketch area of town). Apparently they don't take e tickets. When I called to inquire about the late bus, the lady couldn't tell me why it was late or when It would arrive. Bus wifi didn't work. Smelled faintly of the restroom on board, even at the front. Bus was cleanish. Not the best experience but ok I guess, considering there are no alternative bus companies."
