Under the passionate leadership of Pastor Steven Moon, our church is dedicated to fostering a Christ-centered community where individuals and families can grow in their faith and experience the love of God.
Pastor Steven, originally from South Korea and raised in Orange County, brings a lively and engaging spirit to our congregation. With a B.A. in Christian Education from Biola University and an M.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Talbot Seminary, he is deeply committed to helping people connect with God and each other. His journey, enriched by experiences in South Korea, includes meeting his wife Christine during a mission trip. Together, they share a passion for hospitality and building meaningful relationships.
At Saddleback Church South Bay, we offer a variety of programs and resources to support you on your spiritual journey. Our Saddleback Kids program provides fun and age-appropriate activities designed to connect children with God and their peers. Additionally, we offer free resources to empower and equip parents as they navigate the rewarding journey of raising their children.

"Come and visit on Sunday. You will find a group of people who are welcoming, and loving. You will be encouraged to grow in your faith. If you have kids, the kiddos will be cared for by awesome people - while you attend service. "Such a great church! Everyone is so welcoming and I feel safe when I am around the campus. Saddleback Church is a big church but you can know others and be known in this campus. Pastors and staff are all very caring. I don’t have kids, but kids around the church are all smiling so I know they are having good times too. Highly recommend this church."
"The people were friendly, the sermon was interesting enough, but the volume level on the "worship" was so over-the-top loud that I will not be attending a second time. Ever. And I'm not just talking preference here. Wearing earplugs would accomplish nothing, as the bass was so intense that I felt it vibrate in every bone in my body the the point that it took every ounce of willpower not to throw up on the person sitting in front of me. If I hadn't been there with my friend, I would have walked out. I feel closer to God sitting in the park BY MYSELF than going to a "church" like this. I pray God hold the leadership accountable for every gullible person who has their hearing permanently damaged by this nonsense. In Jesus Name."
