"As a Detroit native, when I heard about hokkaido milk bread style deep dish pizza, I had to make the journey from OC to try their pizza. They had a small parking lot behind the building so it wasn't difficult to find parking. When we arrived, we noticed a family munching on pizza in the parking lot. Inside there are a few stools to dine-in, but not full waiter service. We chatted with the owner and ended up ordering two pizzas: The Mushroom Magic and The Special. They were both very delicious hot out of the oven and even warmed up the next day. Overall, we enjoyed our experience but just docking one star because the prices are pretty high for a four corner slice pizza."

"Excellent Detroit-style square deep dish pizza. The crust is perfectly done with good caramelization. The crust itself is light and airy. Decent amount of toppings, but may have to order extra pepperoni next time (get more protein). It is a bit pricey, but, very good."

"This is easily some of the best pizza in LA! The flavor is there, the dough is phenomenal, it just checks off all the right boxes. I went with their small standard pepperoni and cheese and it was nothing short of amazing. This is one of those holes in the wall that you tell people about. Although I will be coming back for more and also letting my friends and family know about it, there is one downside. The price. You’re definitely paying a premium for a premium product. I paid close to $20 for four squares of the pepperoni and cheese. I know inflation is up and this might not all be their fault but at the end of the day I’ve had pizza just as good (if not better) for less. All that said, I would still encourage anyone to try this place. You will not be disappointed!"
