"After reading reviews online on Yelp and TripAdvisor, it seems people have a variety of different experiences with this company. Some great and some not so great. I’d say overall I had a very good experience that is worth repeating in the future. Pros: - Check-in and boarding was a breeze. The staff in Monterey were incredibly friendly and helpful. They took my Avis rental keys and dropped it off at Avis because it’s an annoying walk from the main terminal. Perhaps this is something that JSX should inform passengers about because I only knew this was an option because Avis told me after I called them. By the time I landed Avis picked up my car and my reservation was closed. - The flight stewardess and pilot were very professional and provided great customer service, including a diversified drink menu/snacks. - the whole process was efficient and I saved a ton of time and didn’t have the same level of stress when flying commercial Cons: -During takeoff a very small amount of water dripped on me from the AC vent above. Definitely disconcerting but it stopped so quickly that I didn’t bring it up to the stewardess -The terminal in Orange County is very cramped and was hard navigating everyone with my bags -The executive terminal is quite far from the rental car companies in Orange County and Monterey. Though JSX offers rental car services it’s with a company I don’t know. It was either a $30 Uber to drive 3 minutes or almost a mile walk with my bags in Orange County. I chose to walk and if I wasn’t young and somewhat fit, I would have been quite annoyed with the experience in the heat."

"I never want to take any other airline ever again. Fast easy nice lovely, and about the same price as southwest business select. I wish I could limit my travel to only go where JSX flies."

"First time flying JSX; went from SNA to Monterey. It was less hassle than using American Airlines, United, Delta, Soutwest. There were no other direct flights. Onboarding and offboarding were fast and stress free. Cons: The cost. Also, arriving at Monterey we asked where the Budget Rental Car counter was. The JTX staff should have told us they would phone Budget to have the car driven to us. Instead they told us to walk up a very steep hill with all our luggage and no clearly marked signs. We walked in the street, no sidewalks. We were the only people around, nobody to check with to see if we were going the right way, and finally arrived exhausted at the main terminal. Note: The terminal at John Wayne is so new that the Uber driver couldn't find it. Inside, it was a little chaotic because the hallways are so narrow that you cannot walk without having to stop for people who are checking in or talking in groups. The ambulatory traffic flow is poorly managed."
