At Unity of Monterey Bay, we believe in the power of collective consciousness and the transformational journey of spiritual awakening. Our mission is to support one another in recognizing the Truth of our Being, understanding that each of us is an individualized expression of God. We honor diverse religious and spiritual traditions, embracing the idea that all paths grounded in love ultimately lead to God.
Our community is part of the mystical New Thought movement, which focuses on the teachings of Jesus rather than the religion that has evolved around him. We are committed to creating a safe and nurturing space where everyone can explore their spiritual path, become biblically and spiritually literate, and engage in social justice initiatives.
Led by Rev. Vicky Elder, who has been serving as our Senior Minister since 1998, and Rev. Michelle Vargas, our Associate Minister, Unity of Monterey Bay offers a range of programs and services designed to inspire and uplift. From engaging Sunday services to enriching workshops, we provide opportunities for spiritual growth and community connection.
