"This small area is not for small children. The equipment is made for adults. My 7 yr old and I stopped here to check it out. It was clean at that time. My 7 yr old wanted to try out all the equipment but she had to be lifted up to reach most of it and than still could not bridge the gap on any of the hanging equipment. She seemed a bit disappointed. There was a nice little Creek in the woods though."

"Be careful bringing small children here, its a homeless playground so there is a lot of trash and needles, and also high schoolers smoking weed. But the park itself is quite beautiful."

"Before I walked on the trail with my dog I saw the big homeless camp. And right after I had it over there he'll to the trail there was garbage everywhere. It's an embarrassment to the city of Arcata."
