Avis Car Rental

"Avis in Camarillo was wonderful to work with. We encountered vehicle issues on our long rental while out of state and getting a replacement vehicle that was comparable to the one we rented at other locations was a nightmare. We escalated the issue to cooperate and when they responded they made it sound like the Camarillo location was the issue. It was definitely NOT. In fact the Camarillo location went above and beyond to help us getting our issues solved with the out of state location we were trying to get to help us. The Camarillo store escalated the issue to their management and they made sure that we got a car in time and that they car would meet our needs. Everyone we worked with in Camarillo was great, but I want to make a special call out to Kira (hope I spelled it right!). She really came thru for us and we really appreciated her assistance. Without her, I'm not sure if we would have gotten a replacement vehicle in time."

"John and Kira are awesome. I love coming here and switched over from Hertz since this is such a positive and personalized experience levery time. They both deserve a big pay raise with how much effort they put in. Super hard to find gems like them."

"03/25/24, unfortunately I have to downgrade Avis from a 5 to 1 as they discriminated against me for having a debit card. They did this after I had rented and paid them for 2 months, they also waited until the end of the day to tell me they would not re-rent to me “due to equifax” which btw Equifax have been sued for miscalculating credit scores, thus I was left with no car which I need for work. I shouldn’t need a credit card to get a car when I pay as I go and put down a deposit. Old post: I received a clean car and the process was painless. Professional staff. John helped me. "The people at this Avis were quick and friendly. They got me in and out efficiently with no hassle. The same for when I went to drop off the vehicle. They were quick to accommodate me when I had concerns about the tires on the car. I will say the car they gave me was dusty on the outside and a bit dusty inside, but the car was overall clean and was just dusty from being parked outside. I don't really care about that, but I mention that in case some other people really want their car to be spotless. I'm sure they would have cleaned it up if I would have asked. I definitely recommend this place and will come back."
