Firestone Complete Auto Care

"Me and my family were in a trip to Orlanda FL from GA when our vehicle ran hot. So I pull off of the exit to the Auto Zone right around the corner from this Firestone location in Valdosta on a Sunday. Had a mechanic at the Auto Zone check it out and he stated the I need a thermostat in which he changed out but even after that replacement part the vehicle over heated again. So me and the family decide to get a rental and leave my vehicle at the auto zone because it was getting late in the day. We arrive in Orlando on Sunday in the rental in which we kept until the following Friday. So on Monday I return to Valdosta Ga from Orlando to move the vehicle from Auto Zone to Firestone to have vehicle serviced/pressure check. Firestone calls me back and states that my radiator was leaking and needed to be replaced. I gave them permission to replace the radiator. They called me on Wednesday and said vehicle is repaired and ready for pick up. I let them know that I wouldn't be back that way until Friday to pick it up. I arrive on Friday paying hundreds of dollars in this repair and after leaving this location 5 minutes up the road, vehicle runs hot. Luckily I had a case of water in my vehicle, so I poured water back into system and returned it to the shop because they stated that it may be 3 hours before a tow could come and get me. Customer service at this location is the worst I've ever seen. Nobody seemed to give 2 "f's" about what was going on nor help to make the situation better. I leave the vehicle again and I also had to get another rental to make it back home. (More money spent) Firestone calls me back on Saturday to let me know my vehicle is ready. I return on Sunday (from 3 hours away) morning to pick it up and sure enough, 5 minutes down the road, my vehicle runs hit again. Poured water in again and returned to shop. No manager nor " seasoned" mechanic was present. Young lady that worked there stated that the manager and mechanic will be back on Monday to take a look at it. They called me back on Monday and said they could never get the vehicle to run hot. So I had it towed to my hometown repair shop for them to check behind Firestone and my shop stated that I had a faulty thermostat. My shop replaced the thermostat and I haven't had any issues since. With hundreds and hundreds of dollars being spent with no compensation from Firestone is really awful. They will never get none of my business again"

This man applied discounts and coupons I didn’t realize were available without me asking! He made me a customer for life!!! The service was also fast and accommodating. I’ll be recommending this location to everyone who will listen!"
