Established in 2009, our passionate volunteers have been the driving force behind numerous initiatives designed to protect this unique environment, renowned as the home of live mermaids!
As a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we work closely with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to ensure that 100% of the funds we raise through memberships, donations, and various events go directly to benefit the park. Our efforts support essential projects such as equipment upgrades, landscaping, educational outreach, and community recreation, all aimed at maintaining Weeki Wachee Springs as a beloved national family attraction since 1947.
