Vick's Cleaners

"I brought in a Cashmere sweater and was to pick it up on March 4. Item was not in and was old to stop in daily and they were sure it would show up. It didn't. Calls to their main office were initially answered but then they stopped responding. Now they won't return a phone call or text. I am contemplating small claims, but it's a lot of money for a $145 sweater. They wouldn't even respond to the BBB. But I was told by one of the management staff who did answer that they lose hundreds of items every month. That seems impossible but something is horribly wrong here. How can a business like this continue to operate in a community like Pensacola and behave in such a way? It is interesting, we have had things lost there for a couple of weeks and most people I know have had issues with them changing prices and other really inappropriate things. But, this unresponsiveness, awful service and missing items should not be tolerated. So, the amount of missing items seems suspicious and you really do have to wonder what is going on. I'll go the a couple of extra miles for future dry cleaning, but this is not how businesses here should run and how people ought to be treated."

"The first time I visited I walked in on the two front desk ladies bad mouthing an old man who had just been in and wanted to make sure his jeans were done the right way. They then proceeded to argue with my request for my clothes to get a medium starch before finally agreeing to a heavy starch. I left, called later to verify that they were going to starch it, and they said yes. I get my uniform back and they clearly haven't starched it. I sent it back, picked it up a second time, and now they've starched but only with a light starch and several large wrinkles which I have to iron out now. I gave up because I have no time left. This was some time ago. I recently had some clothes sent to them through another company and again asked for starch. Got a light starch and several large wrinkles starched in which I have to iron out again. Maybe if their workers spent more time paying attention to their work instead of disparaging an old man who wanted his jeans done the right way they'd actually do their job correctly. The only reason this isn't one star is because they haven't damaged any of my clothes but I obviously don't recommend the place."
