Channel Park Pavilion serves as a gateway to the renowned Upper Tampa Bay Trail, which meanders through the picturesque landscapes of northwest Hillsborough County. This extensive trail network offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, guiding visitors along the west shore of Channel A. Starting from a trailhead off Memorial Highway/Montague Street, the trail passes through Waters Avenue, Linebaugh, and extends north to Gunn Highway, Ehrlich Road, and concludes at Peterson Road Park. For those seeking further adventure, the trail continues north from Van Dyke Road and connects to the Suncoast Trail at the Veterans Expressway.
Please note, a small section of the trail crossing at Rocky Creek just south of Linebaugh Road will be temporarily closed for emergency repairs today through Tuesday (8/20). We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain the safety and beauty of our trail.

"I had a great time riding the upper Tampa Bay trail. It's not well marked, so I had to pull out my phone a few times. But it is lovely. There wasn't too much traffic on the trail, so it was easy to ride without worry. Much of it is next to a canal. It also passes through a few parks if you need a break."
