Our state-of-the-art facility features a 1.5 Tesla Closed MRI, ensuring high-quality images that are essential for accurate diagnoses. Situated in Kendall, next to Baptist Hospital, we are committed to providing a comfortable and efficient experience for every patient.
At First Choice MRI Center, we understand that undergoing an MRI can be an anxious experience for some. We offer several amenities to help ease your comfort, including earplugs, music options, and the possibility to have a friend or relative accompany you during the exam. For those who experience claustrophobia or anxiety, please consult your doctor about taking a sedative prior to your appointment.
In preparation for your MRI, please arrive 15 minutes early and inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel. For studies involving contrast, do not eat two hours before your appointment, but continue to hydrate as usual. We also request you inform your doctor of any metal implants or devices, as well as any recent tattoos or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
