"Other than the swamp smell (it's Florida, next to Tampa Bay, of course it smells), it was great. Good breeze the entire time, the water on site was actually good tasting, and there is a large fire ring for campfires. The bathrooms are cleaned regularly, and there is an outdoor shower that's surrounded by privacy fencing. Would definitely camp there again!"
"Great spot to camp with your Troop or Pack during the cooler months. The Mosquitoes can get ruthless without a Thermacell. The area is great with 3 camp spots accommodation to 30 per site. Site 1 up front is more for Cubs but also for tents. Site 2 and 3 is Boy scout and alot of trees for Hammocks and very little for tents. Bathrooms are nice and clean. COLD water only showers and communal. Just shower with your swim trunks on. FREE camping you just have to book it as early as 90 days out."
"Large spacious campsite with flushing toilets, 3 huge fire pits, running water with troughs for wash bins, one electrical outlet (bring extension cords and splitters to share it), site charcoal grills, and more. Loads of accessible shoreline for exploring. It was a dream for our cub scout pack, and the camping permit was absolutely free."
