"Brought my car a few times and finally had enough. They’re overpriced for guys who aren’t even mechanics. I took my car to get a coolant leak fixed and they said it was the reservoir. $400 dollars later the problem still wasn’t fixed and then they had the audacity to try and charge me a service fee for brining my vehicle back after it was supposedly fixed. I made a smart remark to the manger that they weren’t mechanically inclined and I should’ve known better. He then got upset and told me I didn’t have to pay for the service fee. Yep, I’ll still fill my coolant up every two weeks before I pay dime to a big corporation like Firestone."
"Tried to rip my wife off. She thought a noise was her breaks, they told her the disc were worn and the pads...I just installed them less than 4 mths ago. Found out from a reputable auto shop that it was the lower control arm. Firestone quoted me $838 to replace, the part is less than $100. It takes 30 min to change out. They also wanted to charge $334 to replace the ball joint....the bearing is standard on the control arm, either they think people are dumb, or the mechanics are dumb. I wonder how many people are being taken advantage of here..."
"I've taken 2 of my vehicles to James over the last year & I've had a great experience with his store! They took great care of my challenger & now my 2016 Wrangler. Recently I had 1 of my heads worked on. I would recommend Firestone (milton) for anyone with work involving the 3.6L dodge motor! Fairly priced as well & fast turn around!"
"They were able to fit me in to their schedule on short notice and quickly did an oil change/tire rotation. Very friendly and had the feel of a mom & pop shop, much more inviting than a big corporate place."
