"You know I hate to leave negative reviews and not trust other Google reviews but something doesn't add up with this place. They say that they are a traditional publisher in the comments, and there are people in the reviews stating that they did not pay anything to get a book published. That simply isn't true. They wanted 10,000 dollars or more from me to publish a book of mine that they said they were interested in. Their website says hybrid, which means they are not traditional. Money comes to the author under traditional. There is no buying back the rights to the book. That was in their sales pitch to me. If you desperately want a book published and appear on Amazon, then you are gonna pay for it. But you can do that yourself. This is vanity, not a publisher selecting a manuscript because they know it has potential. Because again, money is paid to the author when a book is done by a traditional publisher. It is a clever sales pitch they have going saying they are a traditional hybrid publisher, but be aware. 2 months after I turned down whatever their offer was ( me paying them thousands) they emailed and said they have payment options. Also, check out the books on Amazon. They got 5 star reviews, like this operation , but you have to question the review when the sales ranking of the books are 1 million, 2 million, or 3 million down the list, and they are all 5 star reviews. And check the review profiles on Amazon, it hints at a fake review or not. When you think top 100 book sales, these books aren't it. How many books do they sell after investing all that money, when you could self publish and accomplish the same thing.? Like ranking 1 million or more down the list, where is any money made back? Yeah they will put it available at Barnes on Noble, but it has to be ordered. It is not in the brick on mortar store on the shelf, like a traditional pub. What people imagine when they get a "publisher" If you check any store the books are not in stock. If a random order comes in from family and friends, they'll mail it. Again, I almost never post anything on a review , but research publishing on Reddit to see this for what it is. One review that wasn't fake on Amazon ( they listened to the FREE audio version,) said many lines were repeated and must have been overlooked. He didn't bother paying for the price of a book that should be edited well for that price. Is that what I get for 10,000? You have to ask yourself the question: what incentive do these operations have to help us sell a book when they get that amount of money up front for a book? If they paid you, they'd grind to market those sales and get them on shelves. Also check out the real reviews of the Amy Roloff ( little people) on Amazon. Click on the real 3, 2 and 1 star reviews. No surprise, comment after comment of poor editing, redundant cliche writing and unable to finish the book in the reviews . They let her write whatever she wanted because there is no motivation when all the money is paid up front. Comments like, I liked her from the show, but the same thing is repeated over and over. Or she should have hired a writer and couldn't finish. Where's the editing? There was no "team" to help edit the book Save your money!"

"Indigo River Publishing is an excellent publishing house. They offer wide distribution and great production value. I have really enjoyed working with everyone on the team. Their partnership with Simon & Schuster makes them stand above the rest. Their traditional publishing deal was fair and reasonable. Looking forward to a successful and continued long-term relationship with them!"

"I was thrilled Indigo River Publishing accepted my book as a traditional contract without having to pay a single dime for anything upfront! How cool is that? Although I am still in the editing stage, the process and the support from the editors has been amazingly professional. I would definitely recommend Indigo River to anyone looking for a quality publishing company to get their story told!"

"As a new author I was undecided as to whether to self publish or go down the long road of finding a publisher to take a chance on a newcomer. I finally decided every new author needs a rejection slip to remain humble! So when Indigo River was recommended to me I called them. After a talk with Georgette Green at Indigo, who encouraged me to send it in and let them take a look, I did so. About a week and a half later I received a call offering to publish my book! From Day 1 I was kept in the loop regarding edits, how the process worked and more. An illustrator was found and we were on our way ~ and when the time came the layout people were top notch experts. Now my book, Pippin And The Magic Castle, is widely distributed to major retailers, in four businesses in my home town, and multiple copies will be in my library. Book signings are coming up as well. It’s taken a while but when I got frustrated or impatient, Bobby Dunaway was right there, offering support and words of encouragement. As Georgette reminded me this isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon, and Indigo will be in it with you. This is a reputable, highly thought of company and I was never ever pressured to put in $$$. So a word to new authors, it’s not an overnight thing but with the right people to guide you, you will make it! Thanks, Indigo family for being there with me. Pippin thanks you too!"

"I made a great choice using Indigo River Publishing. Besides doing a professional job on my books they also treated me like family. My first book "The Chase" became a best seller within 3 hours its launch date. It's projected that my second book "The Ghost of Sheppard's Inn" will do the same. My third book is being considered for a major motion picture. I believe that dreams can come true.....you just need Indigo River Publishing in your corner! Thank you Indigo River Publishing. M David - Best Selling Author"
