"Worst school ever. My daughter is in this school district and I go out of my way to Take her to another school."

"This is a terrible school. They do not give these children any homework except spelling words. They will not (even if your children have a coat) make them put it on when it's raining or cold out, they have a serious bullying problem (and when u enquire as to what happened, no one has a clue), they give your children's school supplies to other children (so much so that when you visit your child and check their desk there's nothing in there [and I am one of those parents who purchases everything on the list even the teachers wish list]. Make sure if your child or children are in fights, that you keep all of the yellow slips because if you request to withdraw your child or children for safety, they'll give u a white slip with only your child's name on it and the incidents making it look like your child was the bully. The teachers don't really teach your child or children they let the other students do it which is insufficient to say the least. Most of the teachers seem to be there just for a paycheck. It's really sad. There are always fights on the buses. My son's bus has to wait 30mins every morning for those terrible children to sit down. We've had to wait several times for the driver to get kids already on the bus to settle down before he would let the children in my neighborhood on the bus."

"My daughter has had a/b honor roll since she started school i recently had to change her from ferrypass to her home school which is oakcrest and her grades have went down hill some not all of the staff is very rude and disrespectful and have the nerve to talk about the childrens behavior save yourself and your kids and enroll them somewhere else"

"What a great experience to teach kindergarten age at Oakcrest Elementary School. The other teachers were extremely supportive. The children were energetic and curious. The school has a welcoming, caring, educational atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised."

"My daughter made all A's and B's this year in 3rd grade, BUT she came home crying alot because of bulling from other kids. The bus was horrible, the kids always yelled and there was ALWAYS fights on the bus. My daughter hated going to school because of all the bullies so i will have to move this summer just so she can go to a better school. i would NOT recommend this school to my worst enemy. The teacher was great and she did excellent teaching my daughter but the ghetto kids that go there just ruin the whole school. They always cuss and try to start fights with the younger kids, i dont feel that younger students are safe at this school.But thats what you get when your going to school in the "ghetto" it never going to turn out good.Oh and i forgot to mention the little park behind the school is always packed with used condoms and beer cans. I cant even let my kids play there because of finding used needles and condoms all over the playground. Its really sick."
