"This place is dirty and disgusting. Triage nurses unprofessional, unkind and uncaring. Will be visiting Fairhope or Pensacola from now on."

"Oh my! Where do I begin?? My family vacations in Ft Morgan every year and have never had to go to an ER before last week. My husband was having severe pain and he suspected a kidney stone. We arrived at ER about 8:15 PM, 6/25. It was fairly busy for a Tuesday night. Was checked in quickly but waited til around 10 before scan was taken. Then we waited for another 2 hours before being put in a room. The unsanitary condition of this old room was unacceptable! Trash on the floor, dried blood stains on the tile and a few bugs crawling around! We couldn't believe it. Doctor finally came in and confirmed kidney stone. Informed us that she wanted to take blood now to make sure kidneys are functioning normally. Another wait.........Nurse finally came in, took blood, dripped blood on my husband's shorts and floor and didn't even clean it up.......Gave my husband a shot for pain and a bag of fluids to flush out stone. Then we were totally forgotten! Lady came in to empty trash bags and still left trash on the floor, along with needle wrappers and 1/2 filled syringes. It was 2:30 before DR came back in with discharge papers! She prescribed something for pain, nausea meds and flomax. We asked if she could give us something now since all drug stores are closed at 2:30 in the morning. She replied, "We are a hospital, not a drug store." Wow! So sympathetic. We were not drug seekers! She confirmed the kidney stone. We were so insulted! Next morning at 8 a.m, I'm at Walgreens to fill prescriptions. Had to wait another 30 minutes, because Doctor DIDN:T date the prescription! They had to call to confirm. Needless to say, this experience was horrible and I hope and pray we never, never, never have to visit this ER again. Do better!"

"I went last night after hours of sleepless pain and high blood pressure, not because of pain, but because I was having trouble breathing. The front desk was efficient and I was taken back with 20 minutes. Mind you it was 1 in the morning and the parking lot was nearly empty (around a dozen cars) and not a soul in the waiting area. By the time I saw the doctor after another hour, my breathing had returned to normal. He ordered bloodwork, which was badly botched by the nurse. After skewering me 3 times, the last of which was so painful I finally started yelling and told her to stop. Her parting words were someone else was going to have to “stick me to get blood”. As a type 1 diabetic who has regular bloodwork, I have never had an experience like that. Long story short, if whatever is wrong with you may require bloodwork, go to Foley."

"I went to the Er yesterday morning with extreme nausea and stomach cramps. The staff was amazing to me and treated me so well in my moment of need. The nurses put warm blankets around my shoulders and body so that I would get warm. The doctor was very knowledgeable and kind. I felt like the staff was very sympathetic of my condition. Thank you to everyone that helped me. You were a huge blessing. I have not felt that bad in my life."
