Founded in 1949 by Grady Segrest, M.D., DMC has a rich history of excellence and growth. Originally situated on Government Street near the Oakleigh Garden District, the clinic expanded with the addition of renowned physicians like John Moss, M.D., Henry Gewin, M.D., and Bill Atkinson, M.D. Dr. Segrest's leadership as chief of medical staff at Mobile Infirmary further solidified our commitment to quality care. In 1968, Martin Lester, M.D., joined the practice, bringing his expertise and helping to shape the clinic's future.
In 1991, DMC relocated to the Mobile Infirmary campus, where we continue to thrive today. As part of this dynamic team, Zaid Alnoah, M.D., offers specialized medical services with a focus on patient-centered care. After waiting 6+ weeks, thoroughly explaining my medical records and needs over the phone, rechecking for cancellations every other day Dr.Alnoah informed me that he could not take me on as a patient. Due to 1. My complex medical history? 2. His personal life? Of course he told me that at the appointment. After paying for the appointment. I was DUMBFOUNDED, I left the appointment with tears streaming down my face. Absolutely unacceptable!!! Communicate with your scheduling staff and don’t waste people’s VALUABLE TIME ANE MONEY."
