"Dr Lake and Kim are always attentive and proactive. Office staff is terrific and responsive. Receptionist is friendly and ready to help. This office sets the high bar for what other medical offices should be or aspire to. Even though some reviews are negative (and there will always be those), the office and Dr Lake takes time to investigate the reviews and take appropriate action and respond. They are continually trying to improve their process. You don't see this in many medical practices. Believe me, I have seen many and I know. "I am absolutely blown away by this practice. In a good way. Since October of last year, I've been to the ER 4X, cardiologist, gynecologist and multiple other doctors for these episodes I've been having that have absolutely crippled me. After getting insurance in April, I started looking for an endo Dr. Within Pinellas County. While there aren't many endo Dr's. In this area, and everyone else was booking appointments out into the end of October... somehow, by the grace of higher beings, I was able to get in on July 25th. Not only do they take my insurance, this is the 1st Dr I've ever been to, in regards to my issues/problems, that I can tell genuinely cares, and wants to help figure out what the problem is, and find a solution. Dr. Lake was professional, prompt, easy going, and SO knowledgeable. Within minutes he was able to tell me what he was pretty positive the problem was, what tests needed done, as well as preventative and how to fix it. I was in and out of the appointment with him withing 35 minutes. And got more information about what's going on in that time frame than I have gotten in my 29 years of life. He also was training a new soon-to-be Dr. Although i cant remember the trainees name, he was awesome as well.. when Dr lake asked him what he thought was going on with me, without even taking a second to think- he knew and was able to ramble off what he thought it was and what the next steps were. Dr lake agreed, and we went down the list of what i need to do next to get everything in check. Not only do i recommended dr lake to anyone that is looking for serious, non judgemental and accurate diagnosis/info... the other staff are also amazing. Ceje was so kind, caring and professional throughout my entire interaction with her. Jeanine(I think that was her name)was the one that took me back into the room, did all of my vitals, and took all of my personal info. Again, she was kind, caring, compassionate and down to earth. I have never had a doctor and their staff make me feel so welcome and wanted. and like they truly cared about me and what is going on. These guys/gals do. And they make it obvious. I was so pleasantly surprised with the care i received, and the validation i felt here, after being dismissed and told i just needed to lose weight, and that there wasnt anything wrong with me by every other doctor for the last almost year... that tears welled up inside me as i went to check out, and i just couldnt hold them back. Thankyou, Dr. Lake and the rest of the staff here. Not only for doing your job.. and doing it well.. but for going above and beyond and treating me like a human. Like you would family or friends... and for truly listening to me and not dismissing me like every other Dr out there. Yall have given me hope that i can feel normal again one day. And i truly cant thank you guys enough. If you're a potential patient looking for help with endo/diabetes issues- just make an appointment to see dr lake. The wait times for these appointments are more than worth it."
