"Recently my catastrophic medical insurance was changed and this Dr. no longer accepts my ins. They called me & canceled my appts. I explained I am self paying, I was still declined. I asked why they are cancelling a self pay existing patient, they said they could not order medical procedures for me. So if I walked in a self pay would they accept, they said sorry! They must be socking it to ins. to not want self pay existing patients! It's all about the money now and not the patient! I was told that there is a law called "continuity of Care" which means they can't decline care to their patients based on insurance. At this point, I would never go back."
