"This is still a wonderful place. Re building takes time. IMO, it's moving at an acceptable pace. My girlfriend and her mother both own sites. I am currently in the process of buying a trailer to live there, as well. In the end, it will be back better than ever!"
"As a property I think they have made great progress from a devastating hurricane. It is difficult to compare this park to others without taking into account it is twice the size of Gulf Waters, which is a beautiful park, 33 acres to 65 acres, 318 lots to 685 lots. One of the 2 pools is open, the other soon to follow. The new roof has just been completed on the community building, the tennis court and pickle ball courts are in use daily. The volleyball court is ready. As a previous post recommended, a little time and patience is all that’s needed. I believe the parks board and management are doing a fantastic job wading through uncharted waters !"
"As a property owner, very disappointed to see the lack of progress and clean up at Palmetto Palms nearly 1 year after the hurricane and compared to other places such as Gulf Waters and Kelly Green. Pathetic and shame on Palmetto Palms Management and the Board. They are highly ineffective."
"Palmetto Palms is a Fantastic little community right on the southern most tip off Ft Meyers FL. Right before you get to the south Bridge-way to Sanibel and Captiva islands. Nestled right along the coast line. On the south Eastern side of Summerlin Drive In Ft. Meyers. This community has plenty to keep you going and smiling under the Fantastic Florida Sun. Whether buying renting or Vacationing. Check this spot out , close to all the Near by beaches as well . ...."
