"This point is amazing for the views and the fishing!! Sand it’s white and soft. We got lucky while we were fishing and seen this school of dolphins feeding on tarpons! I took a shot up at 500 feet with my drone!!"

"Parking is horrible. Ony street parking in a residential area with a bunch of no parking signs. Construction vehicles are taking most of the parking, and if you find a spot, it's on top of some grass almost on somebody's property. Then the path to the beach is very long. Have a great pully wagon because the distance mixed with the thick sand creates a challenge. When you arrive, there are no bathrooms or showers, so just prepare yourself for that challenge. Now the beach is beautiful, the water is calm and amazingly clear but so is the sister beach Coquina Beach. And that beach has a shaded grilling area, bathrooms, showers, and changing rooms. There are tons of free parking which can get crowded at times. But for the most part, it is available. There are shuttle busses vacation rentals, food, shopping, and bars all nearby. Way better beach to go to."

"This beach is beautiful. We parked on the street, early in the morning, and walked 15 minutes to access the beach. It’s July, so it was a very hot morning to walk. This part of the island is definitely not geared toward visitors who aren’t staying on the island, so finding close parking isn’t going to happen as most streets won’t allow it and there isn’t a parking lot. If you’re willing and able to walk - go for it, or take public transportation, or maybe an Uber or Lyft. I can say “I’ve been there” and I got some great photos and memories. But, I’ll likely go to Coquina since there’s more parking and it’s also beautiful. ☺️"

"Very nice beach. Parking can be challenging, but it is worth the time to find it. Beach is less crowded, but no public bathrooms or places to buy drinks or food."

"This beach is less crowded than others on AMI, and its location at the island's tip creates panoramic views of the Gulf and Tampa Bay. The currents meeting here also bring a bounty of shells to discover. Sunsets are a must-see. Parking: Finding a spot can be a challenge. Parking near the beach is scarce. Your best bet is to snag a spot on Fern Street near Alamanda Road or Jacaranda Road for easier beach access. Amenities: There are no amenities at this beach, so pack what you need for your visit. You might also need to drive a short distance to find public restrooms."
