Our pristine white sandy beach is a haven for sun-seekers and nature enthusiasts alike. During the season, our lifeguards ensure your safety as you enjoy the sparkling waters. Don't miss the chance to witness the majestic sea turtles nesting from April to October. For those requiring a beach wheelchair, please request one from the lifeguard on duty during the season. Off-season requests can be made by calling (727) 582-2100, and we will strive to accommodate your needs.
Explore the park's picturesque salt marsh, perfect for wildlife viewing, with benches thoughtfully placed for your convenience. Sand Key Park is open every day from 7 a.m. to sunset, with closures only on the day after Thanksgiving and December 25.
Planning a wedding or special event? Our scenic beach and green spaces provide the perfect backdrop for your memorable occasion. All beach weddings must be coordinated through our vendor, Bon Appetit Group Inc., and additional fees may apply. "Enough parking space and the same nice sea water. It is restrooms and changing rooms on the way to the beach. No food or beverage to buy. Better bring everything with you: chairs, tent, cooler etc. And is it parking fee."
