Budget Car Rental

"Be warned! Absolutely horrendous experience here. I accidentally left a bag of life saving emergency medication in my rental vehicle. I called the same day I dropped it off to see if they could find it and save it for me. They did find it. I explained that it is an emergency lifeline for me and I was promised that they would keep it safe for me until I could come back and get it, which I told them would be a few days. On the day I planned to make the 2-hour drive back to get it, I called to confirm that it was still there. I was told that they disposed of it. No call, no warning. They just tossed it. This is EXTREMELY upsetting. I wish they would have called to tell me that they were going to toss it out. She said they had a note that they called me. That is an outright lie. NO ONE CALLED ME. I would have found every way possible to get there sooner to pick it up if they had. HORRIBLE AND UPSETTING EXPERIENCE."

"Wonderful experience here. I arrived 45 minutes early but my car was ready and they adjusted my reservation to let me pick it up early. Did everything online ahead of time so was in & out super quickly. Got a free upgrade to a SUV. Car was super clean and had a full tank of gas when I picked it up. I returned the car to another location. No issues. Another customer came in and was honestly pretty rude to the guys at the counter but they were still polite and handled it well. I'm always nervous about doing anything with cars alone as a woman but they were respectful, didn't try to overcharge or upsell me on anything (aside from the toll package). Would recommend to anyone!"

"This is not a real Budget Rental car service. It is a Franchise run by an older bald gentleman, who exhibited anti-Asian racist behavior. We have rented from Budget for many years, we prepaid over 700 dollars. We are over 35 years old, yet he constantly asked if we were over 25 years old (he was holding our driver's license.) He asked for our work permit and Social Secuity card! After showing our insurance information twice, he actually called the insurance company to verify, even though the cards are good till 2025. We called the corporate office and got a full refund. As of today, he is under company review."

"This place is a scam. Asked them several times about the price and still got charged an extra $13 a day for the vehicle. Called the 800 number and it's a total joke. Spoke to Sydney who is rude and apparently very unknowledgeable about her employment. I recommend Enterprise which isn't far from this scam hole."

"Car was ready when I got there. Did everything online so was in & out in less then 5 minutes. Staff was great. Would recommend for pickup. I returned the car to another location. Car was clean on pickup."
